Bayern helped Dortmund avoid bankruptcy with loan (AP)
Borussia Dortmund's president has confirmed his side received a ?2 million ($2.6 million) loan from Bundesliga rival Bayern Munich to help stave off bankruptcy. Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers could see that Kevin Garnett was looking and feeling spry. Running the floor and looking strong on the glass, the 35-year-old Garnett matched his season-high with 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Celtics to their fourth straight win, a 98-80 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

Foyt released from Houston hospital (AP)
A.J. Foyt has been released from a hospital in Houston, where he was being treated for complications from knee surgery. The 77-year-old Foyt had knee surgery two weeks ago, and an infection sent him to the hospital Wednesday. A spokeswoman for the four-time Indianapolis 500 winner said Foyt was released Friday and is still taking antibiotics for the infection.
